Werkraum krone is about the New Crafts and the rebuilding of a traditional Bregenzerwald inn – documented in colour photographs and essays focusing variously on architecture, cultural history and gastronomy. It tells of the combined effort in planning, construction, craftwork and cooking, and how a way was found to blend innovation with tradition. The book also includes Krone recipes of yesteryear and today, and short portraits of the craft businesses that participated in the rebuilding project.
