Summer – Hot days in the Bregenzerwald
When the hikers armed with their Bregenzerwald visitor card are again criss-crossing the region for free – when the mountain bikers chase up hill and down dale all over the Bregenzerwald’s rich network of trails – when the swimming pool opens its gates to bathers and sun-lovers again, and the meadows and cornfields light up in shimmering green – when fresh-mown grass and crispy hay fill the air with their fragrance – when the cows and sheep and goats have trekked off to their own summer holidays on the Bregenzerwald’s high Alpine meadows – and when cosseted folk with time to spare are once again gently sipping aperitifs on the Krone’s terrace... Then you know for sure, it’s summertime again in Hittisau.
